And actually, if you buy faulty goods you should be entitled to a replacement or refund, whether it's a car, a TV or a pair of gigantic fake tits.
But it's still not the most sympathy garnering of problems, is it?

Were originally on the NHS, I believe. Which leaves a whopping amount for private clinics to mop up.
Any bets that the remedial work will be in the *same* ratio?

It's the same as if someone buys a faulty car that crashes (potentially faitally) due to the fault.

the risk of removing them can cause serious health problems or death is there, not like returning a car.
So there has to be a calculation based on the risk of the implants failure vs the risk of an early removal.
There's not enough evidence of the failure rate to properly asses that risk at the moment so the correct thing to do is "wait and see" but people don't want to hear that about their health even when it is correct advice.

But to say Buyer Beware on this, we're not exactly talking about getting a DVD that turned out to be pirate off ebay here... we're talking about a medical doctor OK'ing an invasive medical procedure for one of many reasons beyond "Tee hee, nice tits, love".
