My opinion is that you shouldn't make your mind up on whether you believe there is a God or not before you actually know both sides. I'm closer to atheist than I am to theist, but I'm still going to send my kids to Sunday School.

At best, they'll decide it's not for them, but make friends anyway, and enjoy themselves. At worst, they'll become happy clappers, but I can soon slap that out of them.
