I was thinking about Catch 22, then I thought no way.The film is a travesty of the book. The film does keep switching time frames, like the book, but it doesn't stand up by itself. Only if you know the book can the film be appreciated.

To be honest I haven't seen the film in years but I remember enjoying it.And I had a thing for Alan Arkin.
