Possibly.
If the jacket runs the risk of being ruined anyway due to the stains, you may as well just bung it in the wash and see what happens. If it survives, bingo, if not, get pissed and give it a nice funeral.

I did this with a suit jacket that had blood on it and it was fine bar the lining being a little frayed.

I reckon there must be a service where they're miracle workers with stains.
That you can send stuff off to or something. I'm going to investigate, I'm not giving up on this jacket. Wasn't expensive but it's a favourite.
