Right.
I've made cards where the 'card database' is connected to an already existent database, like staff or or student records. (The card software people have set that connection up)
i;ve made cards where I've copied then amended the format of said staff/student 'card databases' to make a new database (small one for visitors/associates etc. where we input the info directly.)


Question is, how easy is it to design a card database and then connect to a database that already exists, such as staff or student records? I've never done that bit.

You might be able to do that in MS Access.
You might not of course, I know nothing. But I'm worried you're sitting there twatting f5 and have been for the last 40 minutes.
