Well, I guess there's that sort of strange appeal when a film you own is on the telly"Oh, but we've got this on video/DVD/zoetrope"

Though in the case of your favourite songs being performed on Glee, I suspect it's more the car-crash-TV reasoning of "Ok, how badly are they going to butcher this tune?"
