90s Surf Music. I've always enjoyed what I've heard previously.
I assume The Prunes are someone different from The Electric Prunes?

The Prunes. Danish hip hop.
They did some tracks on Mo Wax. I am an obsessive Mo Wax fan.

Hip hop is a bit uncharted territory for me
I have recently been tentatively dipping my toe in with some related purchases.
Obsessing about a label can be a costly process, but often fun.

I tried starting from the beginning
I bought Sugarhill Gang and Grandmaster Flash LPs.
Turned out to be mostly disco apart from the famous ones.

I've been looking at PE on eBay, but couldn't decide which to go for...
Noting these down before heading off to bed. Thanks.

I'll bear that in mind... Actually you have already indirectly helped.
You were on here one night raving about Endtroducing (which one of my more clued up friends also rates), then I saw it was reissued on 180g vinyl so decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed.

...Endtroducing is an astonishing piece of work.
The archaeology of crate digging. Preserving the unremembered past.
Best tracks are Building Steam With a Grain of Salt, The Number Song, Organ Donor and WDYSLL.
