I met the Ravonettes once
One drunken night at the Colosseum in Coventry, after they had played, beer bravado had me encouraging my friends to head to the bands dressing room upstairs. We were challenged on they way by the club promoter, but then the Ravonettes manager stuck his head out and said "It's ok, they're with us", nice guy, nice band.
I can relate to your tinnitus too.
Sunday evenings are always soundtracked by Stuart Maconie's Freakzone.
Of course I am procrastinating - I should be making dinner.

Ravonettes have finished
And I'm listening to Freakzone as well. That makes three 6 Music afficionados on O/T - Cavy is the other one.

I just got back and have it on, too

I'm preaching to the converted
But 6 Music is the difference between tabloids and quality news, and the difference between fast food and a good restaurant.

Where the hell else would I have learned about Tom Williams and the Boat, or The Duke Spirit, or Lovely Eggs?
