(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 16:54, 1 reply, 14 years ago)
What are you going to cook Gonz.
And what are you going to wear?

I hope you've changed your bedding, just to be on the safe side.

I'm in my pants and t-shirt that I slept in at the moment, but my flat is like 90% immaculate...
.... All the surfaces are scrubbed, I have no washing up, all my clothes are in the clothes bin... only thing I have to do is put the rubbish out. I'm going to wear what I always wear, simple shirt and chinos. I'm cooking fish'n'chips with tartar sauce*.

Whenever I have guest around I light candles purely because it looks so nice, look at all my food photos, I use tealights all the time... but if I do that, would it look like I'm trying to be romantic? I don't want to come on too strong.

* shuddup ! SHUDDUP ! "home made tartar sauce, tee hee". Anyway, how comes every time I go to do something unique, and I have emails that show I've been wanting to do this for a weeks, it comes up on Saturday Kitchen that morning? Happens ALL THE TIME.

Is this a date, or just a friend who you like coming over?

I honestly don't have a clue in the slightest.
We went primary school together for the first few years, lost contact for like the next 20. We talk a lot of FB, I don't even really know what she looks like as she doesn't like photos. If it turns out that it's mates having fun for an evening, then I won't be upset in the slightest at all, but if it's more than that, then great.

Good attitude.
Have you got your play list sorted?

She wants to see my TV system I've set up and possibly re-create it for her, or something similar.
She loves telly and sci-fi, but actually doesn't have a telly plugged in (only DVD player)... so I think I'll be showing her a whole load of american telly stuff like Tera Nova, Alcatraz, Awake (etc).

Well I hope the wine is chilling and that there will be suitable nibbles and nuts before the main course.

And you've got an Artic Roll.

Also, seriously, anyone mentions anything about anything to do with this on my facebook and it's insta-perma-block, I'm not joking.

I don't face book.
But I did I, I'd be making all manner of comments about you wanting to put your 'special sauce' on her fishy bits.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 17:08, Reply)
I'd be trolling the fuck and then getting deleted out of me too.

(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 17:18, Reply)
And comments about her fish being cooked in 'fanny batter'.

(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 17:20, Reply)
untill you said that
it hadn't occurred to me....
(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 17:29, Reply)
You should totally post silly comments on his face space page and get banned by Gonz.
Secretly, I reckon he'd love it if you did.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 17:38, Reply)
not sure I can risk it
this is gonz man, might never taste his food again.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 17:45, Reply)
True.
Maybe you might be better off posting your silly comments on here instead. That way, you get to make them but his date for this evening won't read them.

And you will probably still be able to be a dinner guest.
(, Sat 3 Mar 2012, 17:47, Reply)
I had thought of that
don't think I can be bothered though, tired today
