well I've only been on one paid oneand there are very few people in a reasonable radius. There aren't that many on OKC for round here, but they are much more likely to reply or send messages. THere's some dullards on there, but there are lots of different types.
Whatever you do, though, don't go on Plenty of Fish *shudder*
