I don't know the full storyBut he was legitimately made redundant and started doing some work from home for a former client. It's a damned sight more than 15 hours a week and whilst he is genuinely looking for other work he's apparently getting a nod and a wink from his JC.
EDIT AS REPLY TO EDIT - You're telling me that I can't believe the Daily Mail any more? If you're not very employable and you live in, say, Rochdale - 30% adult unemployment - you get no money after 6 months. That is shocking to me.
