Nope, City lost.
And it got a bit cold, so after the game I decided against going out.

What have you done today?
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 21:53, 1 reply, 12 years ago)
Ooh, lots.
Ran some errands, walked the dog, took some photos, did some washing, played an unfeasible amount of a computer game.
Now I'm trying to psyche myself up to pack a bag for tomorrow.
So if you're not going out, what are you planning?

Watch some telly, listen to the music maybe have a beer.

Or a bit of Fred Wedlock.
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:00, Reply)
You can't beat a bit of Fred Wedlock.
We were listening to him in the car the other day. mr b3th wrote him a song shortly before he died and emailed it to him. He was really nice about it, wrote back and everything.
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:04, Reply)
Arr, Fred was indeed a diamond.
I met him on a couple of occasions. A really nice bloke.

Is Mr b3th a bit of a songwriter then?
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:08, Reply)
He writes poems. funny ones.
Sort of a male Pam Ayres. You ever listen to Radio Bristol?
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:10, Reply)
I do listen to Radio Bristol, but only for a sport
When should I listen?
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:11, Reply)
Weekday lunchtimes.
The guy that does the show is a twat, but he reads all mr b3th's poems and letters. If you hear about [mr b3th's real name] from Weston, that'll be him.

Handier household help is good. And the Bristol Bobby.
And the one about getting your car stuck. I can't even spell the title of that one.

No, keep up.
Tomorrow I'm abandoning the old man and training up to the wilds of Yorkshire.
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:27, Reply)
Yes, sorry. You did say.
How long are you away for?
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:30, Reply)
Just one night.
Back on Monday night.
If my train is delayed or meets any problems, I've got an hour to kill at Temple Meads. Do you think the bars are still open there after 10pm?
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:32, Reply)
Yeah, you'll get a drink either in Temple Meads
Or the Reckless Engineer over the road from the station, or, if you don't fancy the metal pub, there is the Knights Templer outside the station too.

Staff there will direct you.

direct abduct and rape

Hopefully I'll be alright. It's just a bit tight. I have fifteen minutes between trains, and if I miss the five to ten, the next one isn't till five past eleven.

Is this Monday night/Tuesday morning?

(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 22:38, Reply)
Yeah. Though I'm hoping it won't stretch into Tuesday morning.

(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 23:02, Reply)
