Canon law has to be subserviant to civil law, no? So a concerted campaign to get civil law changed to make it illegal for churches to refuse to marry on ground of sexuality could work.

It might but I fail to see why that's a good thing
I'm sure most of the Episcopal churches, CofE, etc will do it if they want eventually. Why force churces? as in, why would you want to get married in a place that doesn't want you? You don't have any legal right to marry in a church just because "it's pretty" .. you are obliged to at least pretend to follow the religion, for instance

sadly no.
it matters little what the law says, a priest makes his vows to uphold canon law, so can't marry a gay couple.
unless canon law is changed then there isn't a way round this.
