Yeah but it's the repetition isn't it
Doing it once is an oversight, doing it again is the effective equivalent of prefixing a statement with "no offence" and then assuming all will be fine. Plus his defence of his actions was pathetic. I'd have been happier if he hadn't tried to justify it
