my dad is selling a TT that he inherited as part of a deal
one previous lady owner (not my dad, clearly), low mileage, blue, ragtop. you want it?

how old, which engine and how much?
Not that I could be seen dead in a TT, you understand.

it's about 4 years old i think
not sure on the engine it'll be either 1.8T or 2T. very low mileage, due to said woman just pootling around in it.

think he wants about £8-9k for it?

That's an OK deal since it's the facelift model
still the clitoris of the car world though, so I'm afraid I'm out.

what about my SLK?
i thought you said that was the clit of the car world?!
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 10:03, Reply)
god, no.
I don't personally like SLKs but have nothing against their owners.

No thanks, I'm looking at golf gt tdi's or Nissan cube.
Cheers though. Out of interest any idea on price? I know a man looking for a tt convertible for his daughters 21st.

I'd suggest you kill him.
Or marry her, I mean it's be a shit life but you'd clearly be set.

That man is my uncle, the girl, my first cousin and this is not Texas.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 9:56, Reply)
haha. OK, fair does.
You could still kill him, though. Buying someone a TT for their 21st is in no way going to leave them with spoilt reality issues in later life.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 9:58, Reply)
A bit like buying someone their first home.
