Both of which are surprisingly complex. The English component was large part phonetics etc, the Philosophy component was inexplicably short on lazing around talking about "the great beyond, man".
It was all mostly dogshit dull.

The Philosophy course at UCL had the remarkable distiction of only have one compulsroy element - the final exam. Everything else was optional.

ex-Poly in South Wales. I did it as a minor, so I only had to do a few courses. Kind of interesting, but Christ was the expected standard of your argument high.
