I can involve both questions in one answer. Once on the train to/from Newcastle I was using the free wifi (when it was free) and they were blocking any site that basically wasn't just a wall of text to save bandwidth. So to get my own back in the smallest way possible I torrented New Order's entire discography.
The joke was on me though I suppose, because it wasn't very good and Peter Hook has got to be the biggest cunt in the world.
