I think you made all the right choices.
I want to go but I'd have to read up on the place extensively to avoid the loud, trashy areas. I want nice cafes, architecture and quiet cobbled streets with tucked away restaurants. I cannot believe at 21 that just came out of my mouth.

The Fulham supporting thing I had no choice over and is something beyond my control I'm afraid. As much as I'd like to, I think I'd be disowned by my family if I stopped.
