Current UK pension liability is £7.1 Trillion Only possible way of paying it off is above increase above inflation of tax recipts. Economic growth on it's own is generally matched by an increase in inflation so the best way to pay off the pensions of the people that are going to be retiring in the next 20-30 years is by increasing UK population, by having more kids or immigration.
