When you say back home, I assume you mean back to the parent's home.I wouldn't go back under any circumstances. And I certainly will not be able to, after the HS2 goes through it.

Just googled that, HS2."The Transport Secretary said that despite opposition from Conservative supporters, the £32 billion scheme is progressing “full steam ahead”".
