Never finished Gerards Game I gave up on it.
The Stand I read was the special edition it had some wonderful ink drawings in it.

I'm currently struggling my way throughteh Dark Tower books.
I'm halfway through number five now. It's pretty slow going.

I did pick up a copy of Sue Townsend's "AM and the weapons of mass destruction" at a car boot sale, I forgot how good Adrian Mole was

The original series from the 80's?
I remember it being brilliant when it was first shown, but it's best to leave it that way, I learnt my lesson by downloading some of "blakes 7"

Yep, the very same.
Some old TV stuff still holds up well. Quatermass and the Pit being one example, the original 50's serial is fucking brilliantly done and one of my favourite things ever.
