When I worked in Oz I once went to a party with my ex boss. We drove about 2 1/2 hours to get there & he didn't think that was excessive!

hmmm see would depend on the nature of the party. I wouldn't drive 2 and a half hours for just a regular party. a 21st or an 18th or a wedding, yep, defs. I've also driven 3 and a half hours for a 2 hour dance class though, so can't really say anything against your ex boss!.

We stayed over at the guy's houseThe party went on for a loong time & I finally surfaced about noon! Great fun though, lovely people.
