You might like some of the Grateful Dead then.
My tips: Workingman's Dead and American Beauty, both good country style LPs. Much more mellow than most of my records but excellent nonetheless.

The best Dead records are Live Dead, Aomoxoa, Anthem of the Sun and perhaps either Steal Your Face or Europe 72.

I recommended those other two as they were closer to what you were asking for.
