From my experience, the sort of weddings that have everybody in morning coats
and top bloody hats are also the sorts of weddings that have dove releases and in which 80% of the women are an improbable shade of orange.

My uncle married in his 50s at a registry office.
There were no plebs whatsoever, and I'd have turned up in a morning suit I would have looked like the world's most bent spastic aka you.
