So do you expect me to only eat for nutrition for the rest of my life? I'm pretty sure your understand of chrones is not in relation to the reality of living with it. Even objectivly, if I had a son with chrones, I would rather him eat a meal he enjoys every now and then than get wasted on booze and Es.

You often post about stuff you've eaten and most of it would give me a dicky tummy if I ate it. I suppose I'm saying that if you have sensitive guts you should maybe stick to plainer foods and have the nicer stuff only occasionally.
And if my son had Chrohn's disease I wouldn't let him smoke, it makes it worse

It appears you're mixing up 'rich food' with '[interesting/unusal/different] food'. I don't post up everything I eat, I only post up the things that I consider that I want to mention. I don't eat rich food every week, and in fact, when my stomach is worst than usual, I tend to go on a very plain diet. It is extremely rare I finish a normal sized meal too, extremely rare.
Food has no long term effect on my condition beyond how would effect anyone else.
Although what I'm about to say is not the case with you, the majority of people who drink or take drugs to excess have mental illnesses, such as depression and paranoia. It is not socially acceptable to mention their intake of these toxins exasperating their condition, but its perfectly fine for them to take on mine. Yet, what they're doing is a 100 fold worst for them than what I do for me.
The truth is, we all need pleasures in life, mine is food. It is by a great mangatude a better thing to take pleasure from than drugs and excessive booze.
