I need some new music suggestions - I'm bored of everything I own. I got the hiatus album when I was flicking through the unofficial ambient theme day, and would really like some more stuff like that. Also, any good folk, hiphop or breaks would be a bonus.

Mouldering in a box in my parents attic, assuming that it hasn't been binned already. Along with all my other teenage mistakes. I do own a couple of simon and garfunkel records though.

After I did the honest thing and returned the second copy of a Broadcast record they sent me by mistake and then they never reimbursed my postage costs.

Master & Everyone, I See a Darkness and The Letting Go.
I've also been considering getting Burial's eponymous LP, do you recommend it?

Burialwise, the best is Untrue.
That recent EP is good, but the best release by far is Untrue. Still not really sure why he gets called dubstep, if anything he's post-garage.
Get Untrue.

If you are looking for decent contemporary folk bands
I recommend Alasdair Roberts, Sproatly Smith, Cath & Phil Tyler, Sam Lee.
For 2nd folk revival stuff, you can't go wrong with Shirley Collins or Ann Briggs.

it's dead as a scene.
But get on the Lot 49 website and nuskoolbreaks website. Dubstep killed it dead.

Deffo,
I gotta admit, I didn't love ever song at first, took me a few plays on some of them... unlike Angels that I love every track first off. Only song I don't like on Distraction Pieces is the last one where he's getting a handjob.
Check out some Kid Carpet, he's got a few good tracks, I like "Make it look good".
