the problem is you have to pre-cook with whatever marinade you have on.which spoils the flavour of some things. Things like ribs and sausages you can boil, cool, marinade, then barbecue. Bad idea with chicken. But, meh, swings and paedophiles.

I only ever tend to do BBQ and hot & spicy flavour marinades, which cook nicelyAlthough I will concede that BBQ would work better if it was done entirely on the grill itself.
