Abstaining diets are shit, because as soon as you stop you'll be chucking the flab back on.
Eat sensibly, and do some exercise, much better idea, it'll be more effective and healthier.

i won't, because i will be easing back into it and eating sensibly/exercising lots, as i do anyway
i don't think it does any harm for an occasional kickstart. but it's not a way of life. yoyo dieting is terrible for you.
