Thresher did two exclusive varieties of Leffe back in the day
One of them was spicy and had bits floating in it. As you've probably gathered, I don't know what the bits were. But it was fantastic.
Threshers folded, so Leffe stopped making it. Sad times.

Firestoker was bloody wonderful
Brewed with cherries and vanilla, but didn't taste of either. Just a nice, warming pint.
*tear rolls enigmatically down cheek*

If memory serves, I think the other one was a strong one
6.5% or something. That was ok, but I'm not that keen on strong lager.

That did for me at a friend's wedding a couple of years ago.
During the wedding breakfast I was one of two people drinking the red wine on the table, which was fine.
But in the evening I was happily knocking back those little bottles of Innes & Gunn like pop.
The evening ended with me vomiting on my shoes.
I'm nothing, if not classy.
