To be fair, if I time my trains right, it takes me 50min or soo, and I'm technicly in london.
And if I time them wrong, then it can take up to a couple of hours.

There isn't much difference for you there.

Yeah the difference is between the 25 minute walk for me now
and an hour thirty in London. Plus the £4.5k+ season ticket.

Not forgetting Londing Living Allowance if you stay in the likes of the NHS
If you're serious, and I wouldn't have said this a year ago, think outside the tube but inside the train networks. You'll save a fortune and won't end up stabbed.
