Depends on the book. New hardbacks are expensive as an iBook, a great deal of books are cheaper.
iBooks also attract VAT and save a hell of a lot of space too.
I still buy cookery books, they'd be shit on a Kindle.

Amazon and sony are doing a bunch of 20p books at the moment.
I'd happily pay a quid per book and if there was a decent selection, I'd buy a kindle immediatly.
