you literally put shells in it and barely have to tap the trigger and it goes offAs far as the actual mechanism, I have no idea

I went pistol shooting a fw years agoI was also surprised how little you have to pull the trigger to fire a gun. It was kind of scary.

Well, you don't want to make it difficult to fire.It's got a safety catch for when you don't want to be filling bitches full of hot lead, having taken it off, I'd imagine a lot of trigger travel would be kind of a drag.
