Labout won Corby with 8000 votes, and the lib dems lost their deposit despite demainign multiple recounts.
And it looks like the average turnout for the PCC elections was about 15-20%, with a much higher than average rate of spoiled ballot papers.

I'm also amused that the Tories set out these elections using an alternative vote system, despite campaining that it was an unfair system.

I think it's very progressive of a northern town like Corby
to vote in somebody with such an obviously French name. They're usually such unrepentant xenophobes North of Watford.
