Indicating that you changed channels before. The only reason you'd bother changing channels is if you thought you were getting interference from another wireless router. Which I'm pretty sure you were the last time yyou were talking about your router on here. Therefore, you changed it back to a channel on which you previously thought you were getting interference. My question is why?

no you're confused, it was on 11, I moved it to 6
I also took my mobile off the router, which may have helped

OK, so you posted the wrong thing in one of your posts, fair enough.
Maybe, it depends on how often it was using data. If you had GPS on, for example, it would route that through the wireless.

Yes, they created a device that ostensibly can connect to wireless networks
whilst simultaneously was fundamentally incompatible with them.
