There's morons on the roads every day
Generally the ones that panic about heavy weather, rather than driving to suit conditions.

Nothing wrong with driving at motorway speeds in the rain if you're capable.
The people crawling along at fifty are idiots, though they're not dangerous idiots unlike those with no concept of braking distances.
