I just found out something stupid about train tickets.
Milton keynes to Euston is £14 return.
Euston to Milton Keynes is £18.50 return.

You can buy either and collect them from which ever station you like. So you just have to buy the Mk-euston ticket collect it at euston and then use the tickets the wrong way round to save £4... stupid.

It's quite common.
It used to cost more to get from Newcastle to my local station than it did from my local station to Newcastle.
