Edit, I is hazzing first Crimbo dinner of the season today. Shall I go for the meat, (gammon or turkey main, black pud and egg starter), or wuss out and go vegi? Carrot and lemon soup. and a nut roast?

actually,
My knee jerk reaction was incorrect. Decisions about lunch need to take in to account the numbers of guests, previous knowledge of the venues quality, what you're doing later in the day. Jesus, I think we might need a whole thread just for lunch.
