I'd stopped even paying them cursory attention by then. did they then write a series of clumsily mawkish dirges?
Also: I once upset someone on the Melody Maker forum by suggesting that one of Feeder killing themselves would be great for them as a) it's give them something fucking real to actually write songs about other than crappy rhymes about lemons and b) he was only a drummer anyway, who'd going to notice?
