Nobody will ever be able to fix things for themselves.
Fixing things isn't the problem. It's the people who're too lazy to Google how to put their out of office on that're the problem.

I had an out of office reply from a friend who is an author, which basically said:
I will not be reading any emails in 2013. You can write me a letter, or if it is related to work contact my publisher.
