Yup, it's all about the design philosphy of things behaving like phsyical objects.There is so much more to it than that, but an example is if you touch something in a corner, it'll shaddow down a little bit at the bottom and elongate a little, as if it was a plank of wood on water. Or in that case, you push the page to the right and get to see another page thats off-screen.
