Whatever happened to the regular days of action that UNITE were going to organise against "the cuts"?

They were going to bring the country to it's knees, topple the Condems and reinstate Tony Blair as world leader as I remember.

unite were kind of the baddies here (in terms of the unions coming together)
the other unions were doing things, but unite made a shoddy deal without the backing of the members of the union.

Since then, I don't really know. I expect it's politics on a level I can't be bothered with

I remember the first and only one because I met the late lamented BarryfromEastenders for lunchtime drinking that day.

I wondered if it wasn't because of all the abuse and jeers the marchers were getting. Some of them came into the pub with their made in taxpayers time and were shouted out.
