New builds always have tiny windows as this is more energy efficient

but I don't remember seeing anything nice looking built since the 1930s and given a choice I'd go Victorian all the way.

Most new builds are awful
However there are decent building companies out there, I liked the Charles Church one that Sporto was thinking about buying on the coast last year.
