As opposed to starting Notepad normally?Or Textpad, etc.?

I'm already in my browser and have it as a shortcut on the link barright click on it and BAM I can take notes. As opposed to going to Windows Menu/All Programs/Accessories/Notepad which is often in a different window as well.
