The new season of "the walking dead" started last night

What's that one about?
I bought a freeview recorder today, first time I've used a scart wire in years (FASSINATING, I'm sure), 'cus I'm sick of not being able to record/pause telly. £150 down to £100, 500gb goodmans.

I would have spent a bit more and gotten a YouView box, but I think Apple are going to do some magic telly stuff in a month or two's time.

I'm not a big fan of Apple or Blackberry
Any product that has to say sent from my "i-pad" Etc. make you look like a right pretentious wanker.

Sent from my home PC

Blackberry's new Z10 is the only phone they've ever made that I think is worth someone having for a personal phone.
There is a big thing being released next week called "Umbunto Mobile", it looks seriously amazing, I think it'll do really really well. I might get the dev hardware for it to get ahead of the game, it's only £240 (a Google Nexus 4).

My last two Mobiles have been HTC's
The "desire HD" and now the "One X" I'm really trying to justify buying a tablet, my heart says yes but my head says no, if I was into porn my cock would interject and I would probably buy two

I bought a GoTab Lite last week
Android tablet, 9" widescreen, £73 plus delivery on misco.co. uk. "Box open" stock but like new. Seems good so far.
(, Sat 16 Feb 2013, 20:10, Reply)
Head still says no.
I just can't justify buying one

HTC are announcing their 2013 'One' model next week, big event, the camera is supposed to be the big thing on it.
That, a 1080p screen and "Sense 5.0" UI.

What pisses me off is that contracts last 18-24 months stop bringing out new shit
IT MAKES ME :( THAT I CAN'T HAVE ONE YET
(, Sat 16 Feb 2013, 20:17, Reply)
It's so much cheaper to just buy one, especially if you have a near-the-top model from the previous year.
I buy my iphone for like £500, but I sale the previous year's model for £300, meaning I only pay £200 for a yearly upgrade.

On top of that, I pay £25/month for a contract thats got 2gb data, unlimited text, unlimited calls, and £5 off my home broadband.

therefore making it
- £200 (phone)
- £300 (contract)
- - £60 (home broadband
=-=-=-=-
£440 a year
£36.60 / month

AND I have whatever is the latest phone I want whenever I want it.

I really love my tablet machines, I use my "Nexus 7" for when I don't want to really interact, such as watching a film/book on a train.
And I use my iPad for when I do want to interact, such as social media.
(, Sat 16 Feb 2013, 20:16, Reply)
The Nexus 7 is the one I would buy if I bought a tablet

(, Sat 16 Feb 2013, 20:18, Reply)
The only thing I don't like about it is that the Android UI is shit, there's no sleekness to it.
If they do what I reckon they'll do on the iPad Mini 2, then I'll sale my Nexus and put it towards one of them.

Whoops almost forgot
The Walking Dead

My wife loves all that horror type stuff*

*Probs. why she married me :(
(, Sat 16 Feb 2013, 19:52, Reply)
Nah' man, I can google and youtube and all that.
It's ruined questions like "What is thinggy like" or "How do you make" or "How is blah blah done".

Is it horror as in, scary horror, or is it horror as in 'action with monsters/zombies/whatever' ?
(, Sat 16 Feb 2013, 20:04, Reply)
It's not to bad same old same old plot
Bunch of survivors, battle against zombie hoards to stay alive, based on some comic (or graphic novel if you’re Vagabond) I believe. Now they have another living group that has an evil bastard as their leader it's beginning to hot up.
I can only imagine it will drag on for ever and a day before they scrap the series. Just like lost and many others.
The Stand with zombies

Hmmm, doesn't sound my cup of tea, I find it hard to explain, but i'll give it a shot.
I think of a show, or film, is going to be based around a limited cast of members, then the 'bad guys' need to be verried. Zombies are a bit one-dimentional to me, there's no king/pawn, they're all the same.

That was my thoughts to the Tee
Now I quite like it
