One of the things I like is the unknown. Sometimes it works, sometimes I end up binning it.My latest idea is to make pickle-juice granita.

Hah, exactly. I'd only make it to try it, have a few spoon fulls at most. Just make it to see if its nice and/or a good idea, rather than to actually consume.
