Any business that hands out 700m in bonuses when they made a loss that size is seriously wrong in some way. Can't imagine a building firm paying bonuses if they made a loss, for example, they'd be laying people off.
I'm aware these bonuses are "contractual" but that says more about the culture of nakers than anything else imo.
