The missus is doing an OU module on modern art
and has gone to great lengths to exhibit to me why a certain piece of artwork is representative of the creator's critique on capitalism, and not just (as I had previously believed) a massive fucking canvas that they've chucked paint at whilst laughing themselves stupid in the knowledge that those idiots at the Tate will buy ANYTHING.
