I thoroughly enjoy musicals and would heartily recommend Chicago, Wicked and Legally Blonde in particular to anyone who enjoys a jolly good night out

Really?
So why is it a place where ex soap stars go to die? At least the people in Wicked are professionally trained singers/dancers etc. not just has been soap actors.

High-profile show, been running a long time, most of the cast are proper theatre stars
but it's always had a practice of getting celebs in for single roles. Think it reinvigorates interest - it's something like the second longest-running West End show after Les Mis. When I saw it, we had the Hoff. Oh yes.
