I listened to Murder Ballads for the first time in ages last week.
Stagger Lee is a fucking great tune.

My favourite Bad Seeds album is The Boatman's Call. It's patchy as fuck, but the four or five great songs tower over most of his work.

Murder Ballads is awesome.
Boatman's Call is a bit patchy, but when it's good it's amazing.
And No More Shall We Part is my favourite as a whole I reckon.
