Day We Caught The Train by the old OCS
Purely for reasons of nostalgia.

If you were still coming over tomorrow
You would've been greeted by me, naked, playing the above riff as loud as is humanly possible.

I don't suppose you remember Thee Hypnotics do you?
I followed them around like a lost sheep for about two years. Boy they were good*

Hey, this Thee Hypnotics stuff is pretty cool
This is the sort of band I'd like to be in
(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 10:40, Reply)
They used all 60s gear and looked the part too.

Hypnotics singer Jim Jones now fronts his Jim Jones Revue who are great but not as good.

Where do you stand on Billy Childish and his many incarnations?
I imagine Thee Headcoats would be your 'bag', but I find he's another one of these types with an impenetrably large back catalogue.
(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 10:54, Reply)
He's alright I suppose, but releases too much stuff

(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 11:04, Reply)
That's pretty much my thoughts on him.

(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 11:07, Reply)
Oh that is a great record

(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 10:34, Reply)
I bought a box set of their stuff
They did some pretty interesting rhythm & blues stuff earlier on. They did a great cover of Shakin' All Over.
But then you, of all people, probably already knew that.

Didn't they end up as BTO or is that someone else?

(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 11:06, Reply)
I'm with you on this one Twosey
I grew up with the britpop scene so have good memories of lots of stuff from around that time
(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 10:35, Reply)
Exactly
I listened to K by Kula Shaker recently, and cringed a little bit. But I fucking loved all that at the time! Different world, and all that.
(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 10:37, Reply)

i may have done as well
(, Thu 28 Mar 2013, 10:38, Reply)
This has been noted down to be used in evidence against you at some point in the future.
